Yahalom Chicago Mrs. Fiona Kark Mrs. Fiona Kark has been sharing resources, advocating and advising families with children with special needs, for over twenty years. Before moving to Chicago, Mrs. Kark helped spearhead an inclusive program, “Include Me,” for children with special needs in the Jewish Day Schools in St. Louis, MO. Yahalom NY Miss Tova Wacholder Before coming to the Agudah, Miss Tova Wacholder served in various professional positions working to help enrich the lives of special needs children and their families. Miss Wacholder has started and directed multiple programs including the Clinical Innovations at Yaldeinu Agency and The Yetty Center for Special Children. In her role as program director of Yahalom New York she is passionate a bout speaking with parents and working with them on an individual basis to ensure they get the appropriate resources for their children. Sara Raful has joined our Yahalom Team as Yahalom Family Support Specialist. Sara will be helping families access appropriate referrals for your child’s needs. Sara joins our team with her extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist for children with autism and other developmental delays, and a tremendous love for helping families find what they need. Aliza Greenblatt has joined our team as Office Manager. Aliza will be your initial office contact and will be managing and arranging our incredible Yahalom programs and projects, such as Sibs Clubs, Parent Events, Support Groups, and more. Aliza joins Yahalom with years of experience working with children with special needs in various capacities and comes highly recommended by many Yahalom families. Yahalom Maryland Mrs. Meira Burkom YahalomMD operates within the Agudah Maryland office, reaching out to the state departments of health, disability, education, and social services, where key relationships are already in place.  YahalomMD focuses on being a collaborative force with all of the existing offerings in our community, harnessing the services they provide, and identifying the areas which need more focus.  YahalomMD also coordinates its work with the other Yahalom coordinators across the country. Mrs. Meira Burkom is the coordinator for YahalomMD. Yahalom NJ Mrs. Chana Laniado For the past 15 years, Mrs. Chana Laniado has been in the education field with a specific focus on helping those with special needs. She was key in founding the Special Children’s Center of Deal, an after-school and holiday respite program for children with special needs. In her role as Director of Yahalom New Jersey, Mrs. Laniado is here to help children of special needs and their families with guidance, support, and resources.
